Dear Parents,

Wow...what a busy and fun 2 weeks it has been!

We celebrate that we are now part of the North Anglia Education family of schools, how great to hear! We are happy to announce that re-enrollment for the schoolyear 17/18 will start from today. You will receive information soon.

Last week the children proudly led their parents through their Student Led Conference. We watched children proudly and confidently explain their learning to their parents. I hope that you enjoyed and valued the experience as much as the children and teachers.

The weather is warming up currently and the Indonesian sun is strong. Please be reminded to send a labeled hat to school for your child to wear during outdoor play.

School pictures will be handed out in May.

On May 7th from 2.00-5.00 PM there will be a flea market organized at NIS by the Dutch social club: DNC. You are all invited. Kids can have their own stall to sell; cookies, second hand things and all other creative items can be sold. More information will follow.

You are most welcome to join us at the amazing Aladdin Musical Performance by the Primary Years at NIS with the Graduation following it. It’s on Thursday June 15th   5pm – 7pm.

Tickets will be on sale from Monday May 15th, priced at 100,000 Rp per adult (free for children).

We encourage play at our lovely green campus after school time; this is only possible if the children are under the supervision of an adult.

I hope you all have a happy and safe break. We look forward to the final term of learning and discovery for 2016/17 when we return on May 2nd.
