About NIS

NIS International School was established in 1967. NIS is one of the oldest and most well-known international schools in Jakarta. For over forty years, our mission has remained the same- to offer a world-class international education in a safe and nurturing environment.

Located on a beautiful, green campus, NIS is strategically located in a quiet residential area in south Jakarta. Facilities include, among others, a state-of-the-art computer lab; swimming pool and sports fields.

With the introduction of the world renowned International Primary Curriculum (IPC), children of all nationalities can now take advantage of the extraordinary educational experience NIS has to offer.

NIS offers a Dutch speaking as well as an English speaking preschool and elementary school. Our program in the Dutch stream is fully compliant with the Dutch education system and our program in the English stream follows the celebrated Cambridge curriculum.
