NTC - Dutch Language and Culture

NTC (Nederlandse Taal en Cultuur or Dutch Language and Culture) is a program approved and supported by the Dutch Government. The purpose of NTC is to give children in International schools throughout Jakarta the opportunity to learn to read and write in the Dutch language

NTC is available for children between the ages of 6 to 15 years old. Classes are offered on Monday and Thursday afternoons between 15:30 to 17:30, for the oldest children between 17.30 to 19.30. Every class is geared toward improving the main language skills such as reading, spelling, speaking grammar. The older children have the opportunity to work from home because their method is ‘internet based’ fully. Children receive homework on a regular basis. In the span of one year a minimum of 120 hours of instruction are provided.
